Quality
Extremely impressed with the timely delivery and quality of the product.
We are using it exactly as the image used to advertise - with the 60gb hvr-dr60.
I love this camera the picture quality and audio quality is good!
The picture quality is phenomenal- but, we've mostly used standard dv since clients are quite ready to pay for hd.
Price
Cost is about $500 more than canon's comparable xh-a1 (which doesn't come with the microphone).
Packaging/appearance
Doesn't require a lot of tweaking, it looks good almost all the time right out of the box.
All in all this is a great little hd camera that takes great pictures right out of the box.
Competitiveness
Much better than the canons in it's price group.

I do concede the grain that some have talked about however the grain is so slight and the rebroadcast to the big screen tv and the bigger screen projection was almost unintelligible
