Pros
Good playback quality and blocks out background noise well. Recording is good enough although there is noticeable background hiss. Battery lasts a long time, and quality is perfect.
Built in usb so you can easily transfer files to your laptop. Only drawback is the lack of an illuminated lcd.
It's quick, easy and straightforward. It's very handy, range is quite satisfactory. Easy to set up and use.
It is a lot easier to use without a clip microphone. It is great for connecting mic socket to a headphone jack to record music, etc too.
Cons
The new model is irritatingly complex in the field compared with my old one which i have used today. The sound quality is actually really not as expected. It jumps back to the beginning of a recording when fast forwarding or rewinding.

Use for recording mixes from my decks exceptional quality with directly audio input and automatic volume leveling so that if the output feed is too high it ajusts so recording is not distorted

If you know how to work a mobile phone then there is no excuse to say that you cant use this recorder because its much easier
