Pros & Cons
Pros
Noise canceling is very good. The passthrough mode is also good, they have some features that turn it on and off depending on what you’re doing which i’ll get to later. The noise cancellation is actually pretty superb for earbuds. Still they are noise... Read More
Sennheiser momentum 4s are good earbuds. They fit, have not broken down, connect easily and reliably.
They’re super light, (which i guess they were going for) and the silicone tips are standard.
The battery life is decent, the app tells you when the case is low so i never run into the issue of not having fully charged earbuds.
The app/features are excellent. Features & app support 5/5. What sets the sony linkbuds s apart from other earbuds is their innovative design.
Cons
At this point these are the worst earbuds by usability. Too unreliable and too unpredictable. Every seems unbalanced and the app is not helpful.
If your ear canal is too small, the buds can break due to compressive forces on the weak plastic sound nozzle. Battery life is much worse than my old samsung buds, so if you're used to that, you won't like these.
I was unsatisfied with the sound. The person on the other end always has troubles hearing me and says my voice sounds muffled so you have to speak louder.
The batteries are shot. Sony is ridiculously strict on the 1 year warranty. As soon as they're out of warranty the batter dies and sony refuses to replace. These types of problems are completely unacceptable with such a hefty price tag.
A real bummer. Not for me. This is very disappointing. Sadly absolutely piece of *, sadly.

Price
I got these for about $170 cad or something.
Do not pay retail price for these, look into the nothing earbuds for a slightly cheaper option.
Shipping
Even apple lets you remap at least the long press.
Competitiveness
The wh-1000 line probably sounds a bit more accurate but they're also heavier and more expensive.
