Price
These are the best headphones for the money.
The cost may cause some hesitation, but as many of these headphones last for decades, i feel it meets the value proposition.
These are pretty pricey for what you get.
At $250, i just don’t see the value, but i'm not a music professional either.
Packaging/appearance
The designi really like sony's minimalist box for these professional headphones, and the simple card packaging is easy to recycle.
Comes with a removable straight cable, so you don't have to deal with the heavy coiled afixed cable that came with mdr-v6 and 7506s.
The box contains the headphones, and two 3.
Competitiveness
They look very similar to the og studio headphones, sony mdr-7506.
Perfect for when i am testing microphones, and trying to compare various brands and capsules.
The beyer have overhyped, super-detailed highs which create ear fatigue over many hours in the studio.
They are similar to the ear pads to the sony wh-ch720n, but even smaller.
