Pros & Cons
Pros
To me it's 100% flawless. Build quality is good. Cord seems very durable and is non-detachable.
As a jazz drummer t's important to be able to hear the transient attack on a ride cymbal. Sony mdr-7506s are a little like the ns10s of studio headphones, but the 7506s sound better.

Highlights
Quality
The are very comfortable and sound quality is pretty good.
The sound from these are just clean and you will hear the difference in the quality of the recordings and production.
I did return these but it had nothing to do with the quality.
I won't get into the sound quality, as there are better reviews in that area - long story short, they sound great.
Price
For the price you can't go wrong!
The mdr 7506's are much better than headphones 3 times the price!
Headphones for this purpose can cost hundreds of dollars if not more.
Shipping
Whoever shipped it should consider this new thing called shipping boxes.
Packaging/appearance
They were on my front step in the original packaging with a shipping sticker on it.
Competitiveness
I love the sony 7506 studio headphones and have used them for years at the radio station.
I’ve used sony’s on the air for years!
If you want a boomy bass and lots of fillers to blast your music, you probably dont want these.
To get the best sound i can i use a fiio alpen 2 power amp when listening to music through my phone.
