Pros & Cons
Pros
Sony 128gb sd card is perfect for anyone looking for a larger capacity card that is faster than most cards on the market. I'm a hybrid shooter and between video and photography i need cards that will keep up. Able to record pro res 422 uhd 60 on the p... Read More
It works perfectly and was reasonably priced compared to alternatives. It's one the pricy side but worth it. Live up to the advanced specifications it needs to meet.
It's definitely a very fast card, but i find it still pricey (-1 star). Very good quality memory card. It meets my expectations. Great speeds and keeps up as advertised.
Cons
Sony a7s-iii displays unable to use memory card message. Sony website says it does it when the card is counterfeit. The camera says its blank, the laptop shows no data on it.
Highlights
Quality
Very tough memory card, designed for abuse and water resistant, works very well.
I’m able to shoot higher quality video now that i have a card that writes fast.
The lexar was crap and failed after a few weeks.
Even shooting back to back burst images (about 20 images) the buffer was only about a second and i could immediately shoot another burst.
Price
Great price and does what i need it too.
Expensive but works perfect with sony a7r3
I was dreading the higher priced sandisk cards running almost $189 each.
Pay way less then a new piece!
Competitiveness
This sony 128gb sd card is perfect for anyone looking for a larger capacity card that is faster than most cards on the market.
I've tested other cards cheaper than this that are labeled as v60s and they just can't preform like this one.
Now i’m shopping for cf express cards for the z9 i’m ready to go to and again i’ll be choosing the sony brand for storage.
I’d buy these agin over the other brand.
