Cons

The mz-rh10 is not made for recording. After filling many40 hour1 gb discs, and struggling for years, much of my work has been destroyed by this incorrigible piece of work. No automatic downloading of podcasts is possible.

Having analog and optical inputs for external recording really sets it apart from ipod making it much more versitile.

There still isn't a great comparable product in the price range.
