Google tv is perfect for our family and fits all of our needs. The tv itself is fantastic. I would recommend it, it is amazing.

I'm a retro gamer and i'm impressed at how easily it handles twitch games and the like on original hardware. Both gaming consoles run at 4k 120 hz if you want them to.

Cons

The glass bubbled up from the power system overheating. Every time you turn it on theres a barrage of popups asking you to update software and set up ad personalization. Clear cache is the only way to fix this.

The x90l has way too much bloom, like a white cast over the screen. Its too dim. You have to max everything out just to get it bright enough, which degrades picture quality. The next brightest sony oled is like $2,000 more.

Less than three months old and i have had to unplug and reboot 3 times due to loss of picture.

It has all the content choices i could ask for (of course you have to pay for the usual channels).

Shipping

So, i had to return it to amazon just two days after the arrival.

The first one arrived from amazon promptly.

Didnt go with the unpack option just delivery to room of choice.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was also damaged (looked like forklift damage).

Upon unpacking it i discovered the screen was cracked in several locations.

Competitiveness

My wife went searching and found this tv, and since it was the same brand as my typical gaming station she went for it.

I am 5'10 standing in front of tv for size comparison.

I also have an xbox and on my old television i had to use the xbox to get apps like espn, netflix, etc.
