No need to really adjust much of anything. Main thing is the flexibility of settings.

With acoustic surface auto+ and dolby atmos, the sound is immersive. Stereo audio that comes from the screen offers a surround sound that (barring a subwoofer) is close to my older setup with a sound bar.

Cons

As an enlisted retiree, this tv cost over a months income. Its too dim. You have to max everything out just to get it bright enough, which degrades picture quality. There is no reason that there should already be burn-in, other than cheap construction... Read More

Less than three months old and i have had to unplug and reboot 3 times due to loss of picture.

It has all the content choices i could ask for (of course you have to pay for the usual channels).

Neither tv was particularly welcoming to my sound bar, which was a reasonable expensive one, but several years old.

Bottom line: it is worth every single red cent i paid for it, and more.

There is a reason why they are priced higher.

Shipping

The item was shipped out promptly & arrived a few days earlier than expected.

At home delivery is a great free service putting the tv in the room i needed.

The first one arrived from amazon promptly.

Didnt go with the unpack option just delivery to room of choice.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was better than described & the sony oled is in beautiful like new condition.

The packaging was also damaged (looked like forklift damage).

Upon unpacking it i discovered the screen was cracked in several locations.

Competitiveness

The picture quality in just the menus is far superior to my previous samsung and panasonic tvs.

Plenty bright enough in both sd and hd plus sony's incredible upscaling of sd content is untouchable by that competition.

The sony is different in that the background dark or black coloration of the sony is noticeably different than the samsung.
