Pros
The sony has a much better zoom than the canon. I like the reach of 200mm over the 120mm that canon offers. I prefer shooting in aperture priority mode, so set the aperture and had everything else on auto and my photos all turned out great.
Ergonomically, it is easier to hold and less slippery. This camera, for me, is all about a more powerful camera that can fit in my pocket for extreme portability.
A great take-along anytime camera. Its awesome. Now the lengthy part. Not a big deal though. The question is can you live with the limitations?

Evf popup is outstanding. Secondly, the customizable menus and *. Third, the flip screen is useful for those stuck in a crowd moments.
Cons
For a camera advertised and marketed as a $1200 travel camera, that is unacceptable. Many softwares to download, no coherent single software. That's a lot of paper and ink that is totally useless.
I'm in a room with big windows and it's sunny out and almost all of my photos are blurry. I just mean cameras that are weather sealed to keep dust and humidity condensation out of the interior lense.

Quality
The camera is light weight, pocketable and picture and video quality is superb.
The quality is amazing, i couldn’t be happier!
Much above 1000 or 1250 iso, and the quality falls off quickly.

Ty for fast shipping and i love the item.
Sony customer support provided no useful infomration about the standards they require for shipping this camera.
I have no idea if the image quality or software was slightly impaired by shipping damage.

But for my use in the waterproof housing no additions can be added not even a polarized lens
