Comes with apps like youtube and netflix. Uses wifi or cat 5. The only one i've heard of is the netflix app.

First impressions are very good. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to aspect ratios. Dvd's are not perfect hd but they are as close as you can get for the format and blu-ray looks wonderful.

The player is small, sturdy and quiet when running. Comes with everything you need, including the hdmi cable and batteries for the remote.

The only way to get around this is to unplug the power, wait about 10 - 15 seconds and then plug the power back in. The fact that it's a sony is even more disturbing! This happens on videos previously used in the same player. Unplug and reset again.

This unit is virtually un-usable as a streaming box. Each one is worthless when trying to use it to watch youtube!

Instead of refunding my credit card, all i get is store credit! The "troubleshooting" they offer instead of a return is a total joke. Amazon terrific on taking back defective machine, issuing credit.

The processor is so underpowered that it has unreasonable delays just in navigating the menu. There are virtually no streaming apps as this model was released so long ago that most vendors have discontinued streaming support.
