Great walkabout lens. Looks just as great as it works and it works beautifully. Well worth the price. An awesome all round lens.

Awesome quality and zoom range compared to the size of the lens.
Not quite up to the build quality of the 10-18mm lens which is admittedly more expensive.
I must say that i am not particularly overwhelmed with the additional zoom capability over the kit 16-55mm.
Price
00 making the price a bit more realistic.
Competitiveness
Not cheap but now attached to my a6000 permanently and have put my 55-210mm zoom on ebay.
Using it with sony a6000 and together it’s a great size for travelling.

In the original raw image i was able to digitally zoom to see the actual brush effect in the metal finish
