Pros

Yes, i like this lens, but it weighs a ton. If i am worried of anything, it is the weight of this lense. The performance compensates of that.

Outdoors it works fine wit sharp pictures. In that setting, indoors, i find this lens is still pretty decent.

My goal with this lens and my 18-105mm lens is to strap one lens on my a6500 for a shooting project without having to switch lenses in the middle of it. My other zoom is an f2. Fe 55mm f/1. E-mount, and tokina macro 100mm f2.

Cons

The focus system leaves much to be desired. The zoom mechanism is so tight one feels like you might be damaging the mount during zooming. Putting such a low performing lense on an a7 defeats the purpose of buying a full frame sensor camera.

To be fair i am also small so the ergonomics and weight of the lens fully extended do not lend themselves to me and it was windy that day.

The lens itself, will not be able to focus properly, even at high iso after sundown or in low light environments.

It's a great lense for the price!

Except choosing the aperture would be great, this lens is worth every penny.

One of the primes i bought was a thousand bucks.

Shipping

Taken from mid-town manhattan pointing toward downtown manhattan, 2pm on a june day with about 90% cloud cover.

Hence, there was either a mistake in shipping or the picture is wrong.

They did, although the sales rep told me they are hard to keep in stock.

Packaging/appearance

A good compromise over packing several prime lenses for travel shooting.

But, was not pleased with the amazon packaging.

I tested this lens versus my 18-105mm and it was just as sharp as my favorite 18-105mm.
