Pros

Connected to hd tv with the rca to hdmi converter. Big lcd display and full manual control *. Picture looks really good for a vcr to hd upconvert.

Stereo sound is great. Very pleased. And thank you to the company for excellent customer service.

Never a tape jam or busted tape.

Cons

It's difficult to recommend this sony unit. Thank you for the refund of the initial payment. Picture quality is really bad even when recording is from digital cable.

The machine won't even eject. There were parts shaking around inside. It is jammed, and will not un jam or un lock.

The video quality is scratchy even after we cleaned the heads.
