Pros

Crisp sound, great range on the bluetooth receiver and range of sound. Great subs in it give it great base, and it gets very loud too.

The bluetooth is a little glitchy when changing between sources but its not a showstopper. If this happens add in another phone or tablet (me) the waterproof side holds up in my opinion, few times being outside and rain water has hit it, no issues to ... Read More

All in all i'm picky yet this surpassed my expectations for what i need all for 100 bucks just buy it already. Greatly improves the flattened out default settings. But onward and upward with sony.

Cons

It surprises me that this speaker carries the sony logo on it. It is cheap, poorly made, and incredibly annoying. Reason i say it is poorly made is not necessarily the speaker, but the music center app.

The srs-xb23 drops audio briefly every 5-10 seconds when streaming from my iphone. Even though it’s smaller than a size 10 shoe, the sound quality is worse than what i w gotten from speakers a quarter of this cost. Very lifeless and muffled. Lyrics ar... Read More

I use this with my cell phone, quality is so much better and it is small enough to make it easy to transport.

Totally liked the product and sound quality is awesome.

The biggest drawback for me is the inability to charge my phone with the speaker.
