Ip67 rating means it's dustproof and waterproof. It seems ruggedly constructed and able to tolerate some rough handling. Advertised as saltwater resistant and shockproof, but i like it too much to put it to the test.

The sound quality is very crisp and smooth. The bad is full to the point of being meaty. It's the same sort of hi-fi quality that a few decades ago i would have been happy to hear.
The sony music centre app is helpful in tweaking the sound especially in turning on the stereo. The app has a graphic equalizer if you want to change settings. A pair of them can be configured for stereo sound.
Cons
Top volume is loud but the sound signature is so flat and muddy.

The speaker doesn’t perform well at max sound for songs high in bass sounds but if one keeps 12 notches below the max sound things play really well

I will revert if battery life degrades for now i did perform a full charge and haven’t played for long hours to comment on battery life
