Bass is powerful but not muddy or too overwhelming. Sound quality is spectacular, bringing deep bass while keeping vocals crisp and clean.

The lighting is fun and adds great effect no matter your mood (easy to adjust through the app). The lights dance along with the music which really adds to the ambiance of a party speaker.

This sony srs-xv500 speaker really delivers when it comes to sound. This is probably hands down the best bluetooth speaker i've ever owned. The soundstage is very good, much more open than say, one of its direct the jbl partybox 110.

This is the biggest and loudest battery powered speaker that i have heard compared to others. It has a long battery life with a charge cord that is durable. The 20 hours length of time the battery charge lasts too.

The sound quality is ok at best, the bass is no better then a cell phone. The loudness is pitiful. If you are outside even in a small space it is not loud enough. The lights are very muted as well.

I can't return it at this point, after finally discovering all of the above issues. Paid a lot of money for * sounding music. Maybe for a hundred bucks but not for almost 500 bucks.
