Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is top notch, crystal clear, awesome.
The sturdy built-in handles and wheels are great features and are necessary to move the speaker comfortably by yourself.
That mode disables the lights and nearly all of the bass, so probably only good for podcasts and such or if you are nearly out of battery.
There is a dj effects menu in the app but its a huge joke, nothing of any use to even a wannabe dj in that section, it has two ... Read More
Price
I think the value of this speaker is worth every penny.
And with everything big it does, it also comes with a hefty price.
I paid $500 still a lot of money but after getting it i was like ok it's sweet lol.
Its a little pricey, but well worth it for an incredible sound.
Shipping
I plugged it in according to instructions and it charged faster than i expected.
Packaging/appearance
As soon as i opened the (very meticulously designed) packaging and saw the optical cable, i was so insanely excited!
The qr code on the packaging made it easy to download the music center app and connect my phone to the speaker.
I knew this was going to be a large piece of equipment, but when it actually arrived and i unboxed it i couldn't help laughing ... Read More
Speaker review aside i did have some concerns as the package did come a bit damaged.
Competitiveness
Sony’s megabass mode, found on some of their other high-end speakers is also included for an even bigger low-end hit.
This is another place where i think that sony has taken the high road (as many "party speakers offer karaoke").
I can't imagine anything better than this speaker in the portable speaker market.
I do believe that the sound is far superior to what i believe to be it's closest competitors, and that does not surprise me.
