Pros

The str-az7000es has range and power for days. Was looking to upgrade an avr for a system and this sony more than for the bill. The only downside is that it's short of usb ports. Hdmi 2 rac works fantastic.

Cons

The receiver is very heavy. It should only be shipped in the factory box.

Would not have been able to figure this out without both manufactures support.

Price

With that out of the way, this thing is worth every penny.

Competitiveness

Sony has a rich sound, better i think, than some of the other asian brands.

Both sony and samsung were really great.

I'd give it a better rating except for the fact there's no model app to allow you to control the receiver from your mobile device.
