I had the receiver for about a week, and i had to send it back because the fan quit working, causing internal problems with overheating.
You may not get bluetooth and casting functionality with it, but the sound quality you do get with it is phenomenal.

Would make clicking noises inside causing the video to drop out the sound to drop out

Not sure why you would even want to cast directly to the receiver when you can just cast to the tv
