Cons
This sony receiver often crashes when it comes out of standby. It does some sort of hard reset and you have to wait for several minutes for it to come back again. When it works, it sounds decent and passes through 4k and dolby atmos.

This item does not have a tuner yet the north american version does so a bit of a rip off feature wise its ok has to be set up using a tv wich is quite annoying so cannot be used to stream until its set uplooks identical to older strdh 10401060 and so onthe biggest let down is the £3 remote on an otherwise expencive item note if yiu own any older sony recievers the remotes will work

It makes a really loud bang noise when waking up or going into standby

I dont know who product tested this but if someone heard this bang and thought yep this is approved then they should consider a career change
