Pros

The remote is a bit small, but fairly intuitive. There are many customizable settings in the settings menu. Setting up this dvd player was extremely easy in terms of hardware.

This uhd player works brilliantly. One thing i really enjoy is that thing boots up almost instantly.

Cons

It's almost impossible to enter a password into netflix or any streaming app. The interface is terrible. It's basically useless. Use netflix.

As good as blu-ray gets for the money

For the price, this player and the included cables alone is a steal.

Shipping

The shipping was super fast and a great transaction.

Only got this in august 22, its oct 22 now, bought on recommendations from purchasers on amazon.

Competitiveness

I surveyed all of the top reviewed players uhd/4k players and the ubp-x700 is one of the most affordable.

The picture is great and the cables they included are monster brand, which are some of the highest quality cables you can buy.

As there is very little difference between this x700 and the x800, i don't think the latter is worth an additional $50 or so.
