Pros & Cons
Pros
I use qobuz for hi-res music files which i find to have the best sound quality of all the music streaming services. I wish the bass was a bit more distinct, but i have messed around with the settings and you can deepen the bass better. Headset quality... Read More
The noise cancelling is really good on the headphones. Never had any issues of cutting out or “robo voice’. Also, it does well with noise cancelation.
When they go on sale for between $250-$280, it's a no brainer. These definitely have some redeeming qualities i can’t ignore. Very durable and well built.
The life q35's have an 8 band equalizer instead of a 5 band one. If you want to really make them sound better, you need a wired connection and luckily these headphones have an optional wired aux connection. The plastic used in these headphones doesn’t... Read More
Water resistant enough to handle sweat. Useful when sweating or outdoor use. I slept with these on a bus trip.
Cons
The connectivity isn't good at all. Even turning off noise cancelling is a huge pain. The sound & noise canceling quality is fine, but beware of hinge defects which can make product worthless and repairs not covered under warranty.
You pause by tapping the center but volume control and changing tracks require you to swipe from the center outward in different directions. The headphones constantly register the start of the swipe as pausing the music.
The low-battery notification is very long and silences the regular audio. This renders the headphones basically unusable.
For $278 they could not be bothered to provide a usb to ac plug to charge the headphones with. These headphones are just not up to spec of what they should be at the current price point. I’m completely soured on these sony headphones.
Sony will not reimburse for anything. These are unusable. They break at hinge quite easily with few months of regular usage. Physical damage is not covered by the 1 year warranty.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is great and they’re super easy to use.
No issues at all great battery life and noise cancellation i love them
The sound quality is second to none.
Once i tried these on and hit the button to activate the noise canceling, i was blown away!
Price
The value was worth it, and it connected to bluetooth very well.
I got these on sale on amazon which also made the choice easier me as well.
1more was not bad at all for around $79.
At $199, last year's model, they are priced for anyone who enjoys high end sound but likes a fair price.
Shipping
I managed to get this during prime day that saved me a lot of money!
Packaging/appearance
It came in a very nice box that was well wrapped, and all of the products were inside and accurate to the images of the headphones!
I did receive in perfect condition and is an addition my sony 3’s.
Competitiveness
I spent a lot of time researching these headphones and comparing them to others.
I do recommend to anyone who wants better than a starter set of head phones though some decent off brands.
