The sony wh-1000mx5 headphone is not foldable and comes with a giant box. The skin on the outer shell of the earmuffs peels very easily, and very quickly they look old.

These sony wh-1000xm5 noise canceling wireless headphones are the best i've ever owned.
The sound and battery life are great.
The main issue i have is with comfort: the headband is basically a rounded plastic bar instead of a wide flat surface.
It’s good for the most part, was hoping for better noise cancellation, but it’s not much on that.
Price
These really are worth the spend - if you love music.

I love being connected to my laptop and phone at the same time but sometimes it can act glitchy such as when playing spotify on my phone i have to remember to go into the headphones app and tell it to prioritize my phone over my laptop

There are other glitches ive had trouble figuring out such as how to disable voiceactivated conversation mode after its turned itself on

Its padded but if youre bald like me the entire weight of the headphones is resting on a pencilwide stripe across my scalp which gets uncomfortable long before my workday is over

The app is necessary for initial set up but unless you want to trigger a setting change it just needs to be on your device
