Pros & Cons
Pros
It fits my head well too! The sound is great and they're comfortable to wear.
Sony 1000s have a very good app that makes connecting to different devices much easier. The included storage case is sturdy and compact with soft padding on the inside. The only gripe i have is with zoom and the auto pause.
The sony wh-1000xm5 headphones are wireless, noise-canceling headphones. The sound cancellation is excellent. Noise cancellation is awesome. And the value is cheaper especially after getting it on a sale compare to airpod max which is 100-200 more sor... Read More
Cons
The app is abusive. It automatically pauses anything that's playing when you take the headphones off and resumes when you put them back on. Every time i disable spk-to-chat in settings, it automatically re-enables itself for a half dozen * reasons.
Headphones have a known issue with the pivot above the ear cup breaking with out physically dropping or misusing the product. The fact that these are designed to work with an iphone and iphone only is a deal-breaker. Would have purchased equivalent bo... Read More
Does not fit well, is bulky, and space-occupying for travel.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is fantastic, with a balanced, clear sound profile that works well across all genres.
This 5th gen feels amazingly comfy even with glasses and has awesome sound quality.
The noise cancellation is top-tier, effortlessly blocking out background noise whether you're traveling or just in a noisy environment.
Didn't like the fit and sound quality.
Price
Normally budget for something up to $200 or so.
Got this on sale for black friday for $300.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is nice--much thought went into the packaging.
Competitiveness
It can also set the anc as well, switching between ambient or anc, and/or off.
Convenience factor is much better than those phones needing portable, dac amps.
The sound was better than the m4's but not as comfortable as the m4's
All in all, they are great headphones - no comparison to the bose i had before, which disintegrated after almost a year.

Noise cancelling is noticeably improved and seems to ramp up or down in intensity based on the volume around you which is nice when a truck or something goes by and it needs to amp it up but bring it back down to 34i just have a window fan on34 levels after

The xm3 had issues where it needed 1030sec to connect to things it often chose the wrong devices to connect to and worked best if you kept it exclusive to a single transmitter
