The picture quality of this tv is tremendous. The audio is better than the sound bar i purchased with the tv. It works well especially with the sony sound bar, as we have this in our bedroom tv cabinet.

Testing this sony bravia as part of the amazon vine program. Android tv to me is a much better os than webos for general usage without the help of an external streamer. The app interfaces are excellent. It has almost every format covered.
The x950h has the deepest darkest screen we've experienced. It's one of the best tv's you can get unless you go with an oled. Oled is worth the premium depending on certain factors.

We do not have cable tv and live too far away from broadcast digital tv stations so i don't know anything about the quality of the tuner.

It was impossible to clear those notifications from the screen.

1 ps5 4k 120 fps capability, if that is you, then the cheaper x900h might be a much better deal.

A few things i didn’t like was the unremovable power cord and although there is an earc hdmi port the 950h hdmi ports do not support hdmi 2

I was satisfied with it for the price but after spending some time with it i began to understand the importance of brightness color accuracy and local dimming algorithms not to mention motion

Im not at all interested in keeping up with the jonses so despite its shortcomings i was willing to live with the vizio until it was totally obsolete as i had done with my two televisions prior

I considered a 48 oled from lg and while the oled picture is noticeably better in terms of black level and uniformity when watching content rather than static test patterns the difference is nowhere near as major as the difference between the x950h and a budget set

In the store everything looks samey so its easy to be allured by unbelievably cheap sets
