It is better than lg's brightest oled. This sony smart tv has qd-oled technology or quantum dot.
Picture is superb crisp and smooth with perfect *. Image quality easily jumps up near peak levels achievable.

Cons
The software lets it down from the off. Google home is absolutely pointless and intrusive and destroys this tv. The tv constantly fails to connect to the internet (known and common fault that is yet to be addressed) making smart features obsolete.

The old one was also 4k but the difference in picture quality is amazing.
Again much like the a80k the picture quality is where it absolutely excels.

Check avforums for the thread on settings ive turned the brightness down considerably use movie mode for authentic colours

The upside to this is you can use a power saving mode you can use less features whilst its on using less energy consumption too and the standby only uses 0

This tv is a 55 master series qdoled with two actuators and two subwoofers i mean the screen really is your speaker
