Best features of this model are the lightweight compact body and the flip-out screen. This camera is a professionals tool for their ‘toolbox’ when creating content. The portability and flip around screen make this camera perfect for vloggers.

The articulating screen is easy to view but may be challenging in sunny areas. Just purchased a skin and screen protector to go with it. I am very happy with the vari-angle lcd screen that folds out.

Cons

The image stabilization is digital so it crops your image. On the highest setting it is smooth, but cropped. Too bad, the camera takes nice pictures & video, but i'm not a premium price for a counterfeit merchandise.

Would recommend purchasing larger priced items at retail locations so refund options aren't like this. Sony's practices are shady. Do not buy.

This vlogging centric camera has a fatal flaw. Even while plugged in via usb stream, it's a major hassle. This camera is marketed as a solution for youtube vloggers.

😡 no one can tell me what’s actually wrong with the camera but a 3rd party service/repair shop quoted me almost $500 to fix it.

Price

So i’m still trying this camera and i think it’s a very good deal since the price is not that high.

Shipping

The shipping box is dented but fortunately the camera still works.

Lastly, this camera was shipped in its box inside a shipping box without any packing material.

Packaging/appearance

I bought it used-acceptable from amazon and to me, it came pristine, just missing original packaging.

I never buy used electronics especially without the original packaging but i decided to take a chance in order to save any amount of money.

Competitiveness

I have been using it for an on the go camera for b roll footage and using it on the new zhiyun crane m3, which it pairs very nicely on.

It replaced my old sony rx100 m4.

Not in the 12 sub-menus under camera-1, it's in the 9th and last sub-menu of camera-2.

Came out to $600 and the company included two more batteries, along with he charging pack, and a 128gb memory card.
