Pros & Cons
Cons
The weld joint between the feet and the pole is weak. Unable to assemble… called sorbus customer service 10 times over a 2 day period. The base's four feet are vertical, thus falling on them or tripping over them can lead to injury.
Highlights
Quality
Super sturdy base for the swing and brings hours of enjoyment
It’s nice and sturdy and doesn’t wobble even on my old deck.
So far no discoloration after being outside
We are in the process, after 3mos.
Price
It was well worth the money and is extremely helpful for those with sensory needs.
Otherwise it’s a pain in the a$$.
This is a great stand for the money.
Shipping
I contacted customer support and they sent a replacement part within a few days.
Customer service replied to us within 9 hours, had the problem resolved and parts shipped to us within 3 days.
Packaging/appearance
The item arrived in a heavily damaged box, but somehow all the parts were there.
* we had an issue with our first package coming damaged with missing parts.
Competitiveness
I would recommend this for similar needs, and i'm sure it's fantastic for hammocks.
I purchased this item after my son, who has autism, and adhd saw something similar at his cousins house.
