It is a great stone but the wood block it sits in was broken on one edge

Bamboo block was broke before i got the whole stone out of the package

After going over and putting a knew edge on all 3 of these knives i could barely see an indent in the stone

I even put a straight edge up against the surface to see how much light would come through and there was barely any at all

It only has the grit printed on the side

I have had some in the past that the branding printed on the top did not wear down as fast as the stone and i had to rub 2 stones together to get it off so that i could sharped the knife properly

Usually good stones they have them connected good enough that when soaking there is no or very minimal air bubbles that come out from the 2 sides

I guess as long as the stay attached it is not a big deal
