Quality
I was worried that the difference in materials would affect the sound quality but that hasn't been the case.
They fit good and are of a high quality.
The pads that come with the dt770s are pretty naff to be honest, and these are much nicer.
They seem hard wearing and of good quality materials.
Price
I’ve heard horror stories about people needing hairdryers and all sorts to get new stock earpads on so this was a welcome surprise.

These pads are a direct replacement for the 'fluffy velvet' pads that are on the beyerdynamic dt770pro as standard.

You have to pull the old pad off and carefully stretch the new one over the flange on the plastic shell of the headphone

The original pads are more circular in cross section so the surface which touches your head is quite narrow

However my cans are calibrated
