The new headband clicks and snaps into place, then you reinstall the end caps for the headband.

The silicone covers on the ear pads are not as comfortable as the normal leather pads but will be good once those start peeling

Putting on the pads though you might need to get yourself something to help you push down to get them placed in

I bought a used pair of bose soundlink® aroundear wireless headphones ii at a hamfest a flea market for amateur radio equipment for a great price mostly because the ear pads had seen better days and the headband was just starting to show signs of wear
