I't added a lot more punchiness that i am able to notice on even my relatively cheap 70 dollar corsair headphones.
Paired and tested with with a hyperx revolver s headset and sennheiser pc373d headset.
I haven't owned a sound card since i had a creative sound blaster live about 20 years ago in my old dell demension l500r pc.

The reviews saying “the installation disk is for windows 7” are true however you can easily find the drivers online if you just google “sound blaster z drivers” and use the link on creative cloud’s website

Bought this card in 2015 they last forever and it does work great with win10 head to cl site and download the driverssoftware all in one

This sound card can push any headset gaming or hq and the sound is clear and amazing and when you listen to a symphony you hear every instrument which you will never on an onboard sound chipset

Installation was easy and fast adjusting settings within the software was easy and so many to change but most can be left alone but i had to change the eq and made it even better paired with creative t10 speaker set its more than enough for movies sound but this sound card shines even more with a hq pair of headsets such as the ones i use the sony mdr1a

I highly recommend sound blaster sound cards to everyone youll hear the differences and will not be disappointed with the upgrade i have been using discrete sound cards since 2001 and will never use on my personal pcs the onboard sound i tried once and it was mediocre at best
