It doesnt work so great for me under the pillow sound is muffled and distorted but i stuck these speakers inside the thin pillow part of another set of pillow speakers and that works great

I tried a single speaker battery powered under pillow speaker that with a connector plugged directly into my usbc connector on my phone

I had read several reviews about people who bought other products with builtin bluetooth but were annoyed when it make loud connection sounds

The unit i purchased had limited amlifacation which barely got the sound through my pillow and i could only hear it if my ear was directly over the speaker location
