At first they thought only one ear worked but it turned out that they were using it for radio programs that were nonstereo so it only used one track of the headphones

It is a little hard to control sound volume on the ear set because the buttons are so small

But controlling volume can be done easily through the device like iphone or ipad

Also in my house it does not have a really large range to pick up the signal so i keep my phone in my pocket

I bought this for a blind friend the connection was intuitive enough to they were able to pair to their devices without asking for a sighted persons help they have had bt devices before

Update the second pair that was sent to replace my initial pair did have the claimed battery life
