Pros & Cons
Pros
Nc+ earbuds exceed my expectation. They are larger than any bud i’ve worn before but they are still quite comfortable.
Good sound, the app is easy to use and you can really customize the equalization to fit you. The sound is amazing. Maybe a bit bass heavy, but that can be tuned out with the equalizer. Anc is ok, has a few different anc modes.
They really do a good job of noise canceling, and i like that they have a widget for the phone where you can just access it from the lock screen and sit which mode do you want it to be. The noise cancellation is perfect for airplanes and airports.
For sub-$100 this has to be a top contender. Pretty comfy.

The fit was perfect right out of the box, although several fitment options are available.
The eq mixer on the soundcore app has premade settings for a bunch of different genres.
Competitiveness
Overall, despite those cons, it's a no-brainer, especially for such price!

I later went back and purchased a much more expensive set of their soundcore liberty 3 pro that i caught on sale thinking they would be a lot better… this review is specific to the life a2 set but i can’t help but compare and contrast having used both models a good bit

I find that it tries too hard to adapt all the time and i haven’t found any adjustment to the threshold to make that better

The performance of the drivers in the more expensive liberty set are incredible… but in my opinion that’s the only reason to upgrade
