Free soundcore app is helpful to customize settings. Noise cancellation works great. Active, passive, normal. Has modes to even enhance voice in the passive mode.

Transparency mode sounds like there is a little feedback but is okay for short periods. It does nothing to cut out anything other than constant background noise. The quality of material is so poor. Awful customer service.

The sound quality is very good and the noise reduction is even better as it beats many name brands.
Great quality at a very good price compared to the apple products.
Compared to my (cheapo) thinkplus lp3 propros - the soundcore p3 are just better in every aspect.
I have a few other head sets including the high end sony ones, but i prefer these due to better noise cancellation than the sony.
