They are not noise canceling and are not designed to do so.

I don’t enjoy wearing inner ear buds and the open ears that are out currently are also uncomfortable hanging on my ear.

All in all for this type of earbud i highly recommend especially for the price compared to bose.

If you have the additional money get this one over the other model if not the other model is a good choice as well.

However, the battery life is a bit less, and the overall volume is not as loud as the c30i but not a dealbreaker.
