Pros

Fantastic all in one soundbar no need for a separate subwoofer. The bass is really good. There’s enough bass to notice without annoying the neighbors too much. Fyi nice small and compact without the need for additional speakers and wires everywhere.

This soundbar is * near perfection. A bonus to the infini pro is the way it handles music.

Hdmi arc allows for the ability to use a single remote control (your tv remote control) to control the volume of your soundbar. It is plugged into hdmi arc on my samsung tv and set to surround like it is supposed to. Only complaint is a slight lag in ... Read More

Anker is a great brand. They stand behind their products and offer speedy replacements in the unlikely case of a defect. This thing has amazing fidelity for the price.

The tcl/roku remote is wonderful. The one drawback is the ir remote. The control i received is much nicer than what was pictured.

Cons

Until soundcore/anker fixes the audio delay issues i can't recommend this product for its intended purpose, which makes its value factor relatively mute. No dts-x, no dts-hd master audio, dolby digital 5.

The hassle of packing and returning a large soundbar is such an ordeal.

Sound stops entirely and has to re-encode every time you pause and unpause. The problem is with the encoding that happens with the hdmi arc port. Anker needs to update the firmware immediately to fix this problem.

Sound quality is pretty close to flawless and there is no sync issue.

For some reason (and i looked it up, it is not just me) the nintendo switch does not work well with the soundbar.

I tried this with the bluetooth and the hdmi input and both have a really horrendous delay before it starts to play audio.

Packaging/appearance

All the buttons you need are also on the soundbar itself so worst case you don't need any remotes.

So i will need to buy one to connect my motherboard's audio out directly to the soundcore.

Competitiveness

Hands down the best soundbar for $199.

The soundcore infinity pro definitely has my recommendation.

Not sure i would have looked at this at all except that i'm a soundcore fan as the flare + is my go to blue tooth speaker.

I tried a lower price unit that did not meet my expectations and also required a separate remote.
