It's not overly loud to where the neighbors would complain. Works well at the field for soccer warmups.
Power is good, it really pumps. It crushes anything i’ve tried. Charger is a dedicated plug. Only issue is you must tune the eq to your liking.

Cons
The battery life is not close to the rated amounts. The only way to charge is via wall charger.
Surprisingly, the soundcore trance isn't that much louder. Complicating the issue is that there is no option to do a custom eq like the other soundcore speakers. My buddies 30 dollar speaker from menards is louder than this.
Will be returning. Tried contacting company…no reply. The worse part is they only take a refund on amazon for 30 days.

Overall im pleased with the volume for the price.
It’s been rained on - no issues sound quality is very impressive, pretty balanced.

Competitiveness
I'm not an audiophile, so i can't speak to this speaker compared to high-end ones, but it sure brightened up my room!
Powered right up without skipping a beat.
The trance is rated at 80w but i'm sure that max power raiting and more along the lines of 40w rms.
It is rated at ipx7 but i haven't exactly thrown it in the pool nor will i.

The specifications say it all its a solid speaker a little on the chunky side but if your going to a get together at a friends indoor or outdoor itll sound good although i dont recommend ever using outdoor mode the lights are tacky not as good as the original flare speakers

Theres no dislikes about this speaker if you want good quality and sounds good you will buy the speaker you can link two together if you download this app sound core its just a badass speaker thanks sound core
