Pros

Battery easily lasts eight plus hours. Easy pairing with other devices. Very easy to navigate for him.

Cons

Off doesn't seem to mean disconnect, or even turn it off. Many songs sound great in headphones, but are trash on this old speaker tech. It is not smart in the sense that you cannot pair it with a smart home system because it is only bluetooth.

"i question the bose quality hype.

Bose offers to repair it for $80. Now they want to charge me $80 dollars for fixing it! This is a known issue, and bose wants another $80 to fix it. Amazon sells new battery for $40 but says i need to solder it in replacement process.

The supplier says my window to return the unit has expired. We're stuck with a defective product. It's also beyond the amazon a-z guarantee timeframe - barely.
