Pros

Bought these connectors to replace a lead on my vacuum cleaner. They are what i expected. Remove the screw from the hook and add solder to it. This creates a sturdy and safe connection.

Cons

Wire-under-screwhead connector rather than insert and screw. Flimsy, tacky, screws are jammed. Only way to wire them safely is to use crimped connections.

Regarding the terminals, create a hook with the copper wire just large enough to go round the screw.
