Pros

The 54 hoop is the largest the attachment system could handle. It's a very solid and attractive backboard.

Easy to install to 316 u-turn bracket. Two bolt-on mounting brackets for mounting the application i have. Very easy to attach backboard to spalding u-turn 316 adjustable mount.

Hansen at competitive edge products, inc. A nice compromise between the $1000+ systems and the sporting goods chain store cheap-o's. Saved a lot compared to gorilla brand. Still find myself needing to call for a missing part!

Holding up well so far in inclement weather. Held up to -15 temps in the winter and performs well in the summer.

Highly recommend this rig, but recommend to read other reviews about installation and consult w/handy workers about how to install the system based on your method of madness.

Cons

Backboard material is much thinner than i expected - it looks like 1/4 inch clear plexiglass type material. Fixable, but a big pain.

I recently bought this backboard and goal and i was not unhappy with the quality.

Extremely pleased with the quality and durability.

1/5 for mounting system should be 0/5 because it doesn't come with this product.

After i complained, amazon was quite good to me and covered the cost of the required mount because of this misleading product info.

Is holding up well to regular use.

Shipping

Arrived with one corner dented a little bit, but the black plastic edge guards cover the shipping damage - not a big deal for us.

Packaging/appearance

Be sure to use the extension plates that are included with the backboard packaging.

The packaging these are shipped in is oddly shaped and not meant for shipping as is, they should be packaged in a second standard box.

The backboard arrived yesterday and there were a few screws loose on the packaging.
