The black triangle cover at the base has an unexpected benefit of returning the ball often to the shooter. Once you're through those it's cake.

The height adjusts easily. The rim is rather flexible. The hand crank makes it easy to lower and raise the unit.

For this amount of money the parts should be fabricated correctly. The instructions for assembly are extremely vague. These rectangular pieces do not fit together -- the opening of one pole is too small to fit the other pole inside.

Spalding installers are a paid third party and we don't pay them to fix warranty issues. It took me 9 hours doing it solo (the instructions are the worst). Very frustrating experience.

The base appears to be injection molded and is very flimsy. It is unusable after only a month or so of use. The glass backboard is fragile.

Do yourself a favor. This one is terrible. Don't waste your time guys.
