I bought a 2007 clk350 w209 cabriolet with 75k miles and i noticed the car would lose power and the engine turn off while driving for like 3 seconds and then turns back on

The problem was sporadic sometime it happened other times it didnt but it made me uneasy about trusting the vehicle and i shied away from driving the car in case something serious happened and it caused an accident

I didnt have to remove other parts to access the sensor because my right hand could fit but i ended up with 100 cuts and bruises when it was all said and done

It took about 2hrs to take it off it would have taken me 30 minutes had i known exactly what i needed to get the job done and about 1

Do yourself a favor and go to homedepot after you get the screw out and get yourself a spare because you will be crying if you drop and lose the screw

But i think the ecm was learning the new position of the sensor
