It fits very snug but the last one product that fit loosely started to bend

Nevertheless where the upright rods terminate and are welded to the overthedoor hangers they are cut roughly and and at odd angles not up the quality of the rest of the unit

Anyway regarding the 3rd unit it had a broken weld where the top arching cross bar attaches to the long vertical rod

I had a plastic hook very similar in design but after 4 winter coats too many it snapped at the top where it hooks on the door

I also emphasized on metal because there are actually metalchromed plastic over the door hooks which is not even close to a real all metal hook like this one
