Pros
The bookends are really thin, but sturdy. They're sturdy enough to hold up a row of hardbacks. They are very lightweight but because of how they work, they use the weight of the books themselves to hold them down.
Books stay put, shelf looks neat.
Cons
This is flimsy and doesn't workwell with hardcovers. Because these are smaller the curvature of the top is sharper and there is a wrinkled appearance around the inner edge of the curved area. Very weak and flimsy.

They’re sturdy enough to hold up a row of hardbacks but discrete enough to slip inside the first half of a small paperback so they’re hidden for that “floating” look
