They do what i need but i would have liked a little more weight in them as it is if the right book leans to one side the bookends still slide away

While they are very lightweight i find that with a little care all the books stay in place when a volume is removed

While i first thought these bookends were made of actual human hands cast in some kind of metal it turns out that no hands were killed in the making of these bookends

Can use the regular way on the outside or put inside the cover so they dont even show and use something decorative to look like its holding up the books
