Pros
Each pair lasts me 7+ years and i rotate the old beat-up ones into beach shoes where they last another 7-years. Gold cup is 2x the cost of the regular but lasts 5x the time. Got a lot of compliments on these.
Cons
Laces seem minimally dyed and not uniform. Appears that the insole is in two pieces. Basic sperry boat shoe has a horribly cheap foam sole now.
