I ordered this item fully aware that it might not match the photo, and that i might need to add a little patina of my own - i was really only concerned with the quality of the casting, materials, and size of this door knocker ( in hawaii, anything that isn't brass, copper, bronze, or some related alloy will immediately start to corrode in some ugly way, so my girlfriend and i have learned to buy items of those materials and apply patina finishes, which we much prefer to bright brass or other overly polished finishes anyway).  Read Less
